CAPX

Capx is an Ethereum Layer 2 designed to support the creation, ownership, and trading of AI agents. The project combines scalable blockchain infrastructure with application and cloud layers, purpose-built to support the emerging AI application layer. Capx enables developers to build consumer-facing AI agent apps, tokenize them, and trade their tokens in a secure and composable environment.

The Capx Chain is built using Arbitrum Orbit and offers fast finality, low-cost transactions, and native support for rollup-centric applications. The chain is optimized for AI use cases such as deploying agent logic, enabling microtransactions between agents and users, and providing verifiable ownership and interaction history of AI agent apps.

The Capx App is the primary interface for both developers and users. It functions as a platform for discovering, using, and trading AI agents. Available on web and mobile, the Capx App is structured to provide app store-like discoverability of AI agents, while integrating token-based trading mechanics inspired by modern consumer trading platforms. Each AI agent is tokenized, enabling users to interact with, own, and monetize AI agents through token ownership.

Capx Cloud is the decentralized hosting and deployment layer for AI agents. It is built on top of Symbiotic, a restaking protocol that allows cloud operators to provide compute and availability guarantees for hosted agents. Agents deployed on Capx Cloud operate in a censorship-resistant and decentralized environment, maintained by a distributed network of attesters and operators. This allows developers to run autonomous or semi-autonomous agents without relying on centralized infrastructure.

Capx is focused on supporting the consumer-facing AI app layer by enabling the end-to-end lifecycle of AI agent apps—from development and deployment to discovery and monetization. The ecosystem is designed to be modular and compatible with a wide range of AI models, tools, and external agent ecosystems. The native token of Capx plays multiple roles within the network. It is used for transaction fees on the Layer 2 chain, staking by cloud operators and attesters, and participation in protocol governance. Token holders can also delegate to vaults that support AI agent operations or contribute to agent discovery and ranking within the Capx App.

The project aims to make decentralized AI agents usable, ownable, and tradable by anyone, supporting a new wave of agent-powered applications onchain.
